Steve Potestio

Steve Potestio owns Mathys+Potestio, a creative and marketing placement, staffing and talent management firm. He has been hiring and placing creative talent in Portland for the last 16 years.

Formerly, he founded 52 Limited, a creative staffing agency.

Steve has been in the creative services industry for over 25 years. He is a talent management/human resources consultant for multiple creative firms, has sat on numerous agency executive teams, and began his career as a graphic designer and copywriter.

Born and raised a Duck, he graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Advertising.

Though it makes him feel old, he has hired or placed over a thousand people in creative and marketing roles up and down the West Coast. That equates to viewing and evaluating a lot of portfolios.
