You’ve Talked Smack, Now Back it Up
Project Award Categories & Guidelines
- Integrated Marketing Campaign – Business to Consumer
This is where we measure the team’s ability to nail the objectives, learn the audience, develop a “wow!” strategy, execute creative and ultimately engage the audience. Throw in some impressive ROI and you’ve got yourself a winner. Must have three media to play.
- Integrated Marketing Campaign – Business to Business
Calling B2B marketers who love to get dirty in the creative muck of setting objectives, creating fantastic strategies and building sexy integrated campaigns (with at least three media). So step out of the B2B box and stand out among your peers.
- Integrated Marketing Campaign – Nonprofit and Government
This category requires a mix of at least three media and must demonstrate how integrating the campaign worked to drive big results. Plan, create, and execute, the entire marketing process matters! This one’s for local nonprofits & government agencies only – with great stories to tell.
- It’s Beyond HTML (includes blogs & microsites)
A great website involves no-brainer navigation, captivating visuals, social integration, messaging hierarchy and ultimately a return on the objectives through consistently measured results. It’s a site real people will visit, and stay awhile.
- Being Social (includes social media, mobile, video)
It goes beyond a “like”. We’re looking for projects that are all about interaction with fans and creating influencers through engaging, and relevant content. Yes, measurable results matter too! Follow?
- Single Medium Advertising
(ie: broadcast, print, direct mail, interactive, out of home, and guerilla/non-traditional) It’s a billboard, a commercial, a print-ad, no it’s Single Medium. Sometimes you just get lucky, or rather, you set the objectives, build the strategy, develop kick-a$$ creative and NAIL it. That’s what this category is all about, celebrating those carefully aimed bulls-eyes. (Can include one of the media used in an Integrated Marketing Campaign submission.)
- Marketer of the Year – lifetime achievement of remarkable marketing leadership
All Hail, Marketer of the Year. A leader, a mentor, a role model – an inspiration to all. Selected by a peer group of past AMA Presidents, the Marketer of the Year is honored for their lifetime achievement in marketing. Always one step ahead and a mover-and-shaker in the industry, they’re who we want to be when we grow up.
- Rising Star – stellar accomplishments in ten years or less in a marketing role
The Rising Star in Marketing shines bright (and catches our eye) with stellar marketing accomplishments in just ten years or less. Past AMA Presidents consider each Rising Star nominee’s marketing experience and accomplishments, the impact they make within their current job, and the contribution they make within our community. We think ALL of our Rising Star nominees are ones to watch!
